Editing – Invisible Editing

Invisible editing is making the audience not notice the use of editing. This is done by using simple cuts, which continues the narrative without distracting the audience in a way that a jump cut would for example. Invisible editing also helps create and uphold the verisimilitude that the audience will believe for the duration of the film.
